QMplus quiz sessions in February

28 January 2015 Posted in: Announcements, News By: Gill Ritchie

Hand completing multiple choice examIn February, we are running two quiz sessions, one for beginners and one for more advanced users. In our quiz sessions in the past, we have found it difficult to cater for everyone in one session so we have decided to split the session into two.

The Getting Started with Quizzes on QMplus session is aimed at staff who are new to using quizzes and will cover the basics. You will get the opportunity to see what quizzes look like to students and to build your own quiz using some of the basic question types. You will find out about the most commonly used quiz settings and how to use quizzes to provide feedback to students.

The QMplus Quizzes – Advanced Techniques session is aimed at staff who are already using quizzes on QMplus, or have at least attended the Getting Started session and have tried using the quiz tool. We will be covering more advanced topics in this session such as best practices in structuring your question banks, use of the more complex question types and importing, exporting and sharing quizzes and questions.

See our online course booking system to book yourself a place.

If you are interested in attending a session on quizzes but cannot make the scheduled times, please get in contact with us on elearning@qmul.ac.uk.
